The 2024 Bentonville Film Festival will kick off with premiere screenings of each film starting, Tuesday, June 11th through Sunday, June 16 with the Opening Night Party: Cinematic Cheers: A Toast to 10 Years, on Monday June 10 (passholders only) This year, we’re getting started a little earlier, screenings will begin around noon on June 11. So if you’re coming from out of state, consider traveling on Monday so you don’t miss any of our opening day.
We’re prioritizing a festive and formative in-person Festival in Bentonville, Arkansas and all the way through the closing weekend Sunday June 16. With the addition of special programming we hope you’ll join us for more days of BFF 2024. Or, if your schedule and resources are limited, plan to dig in at the midpoint to get a taste of everything we’re planning through the Festival’s final weekend. The midpoint is also when we will be welcoming back Festival alumni from across our decade — along with the next generation of artists — to join us in Bentonville to take in our special events, see this year’s films and connect and reunite with one another.
Beginning on Tuesday, June 11, we will also launch at-home screenings of the films in our six Competition sections. Films invited to our other sections can also opt-in to screen online. Press and industry will have online access to the competition films and others that opt-in for the professional community beginning one day earlier on June 10.
Program and Venues
The 2024 Bentonville Film Festival lineup will again include 75+ feature films and 50+ shorts. As I write to you, our team is getting ready to open Bentonville’s submissions on October 15, so for all the filmmakers out there: Get in your submissions!
This year’s venues will be familiar to regular attendees and become fast favorites for new BFF’s. In-person screenings will take place in Momentary’s Fermentation Hall, Thaden School Performing Arts Center, Bentonville’s Skylight Theater. We’ll also be back at The Meteor for conversations, musical performances and gatherings throughout the week.
Our Festival Awards will be presented the evening of Saturday June 15. We loved the intimacy that came with holding this artist celebration at The Rode House, and we’re thrilled to be back again this year.
See you in 2024 for the 10th Annual Bentonville Film Festival!!
