I took my fog in for her annuals. Everyone was, as always, very friendly and welcoming. The entire place is also always very clean. We saw Dr. Keaton, who is so sweet with my dogs, and listens to and specifically tsonga to all my questions and concerns. She even remembered what's going on with my other dog, and asked about her. My dogs are family, and so choosing a vet is a critical decision for me. Village Pet is excellent in all possible ways. My dogs even enjoy going here. Definitely recommend them.
You make your own decision. Here are the facts. First time to bring my dog here. I read the reviews and Doctor Bios and given the reviews thought I'd found a vet. I made a 4:00 pm appointment a week in advance. Waited 30 minutes in an exam room. No apology for waiting. Didn't need one but seemed to be the customer friendly thing to at least recognize. Attempted to take my dog to another room for shots without me being present. Didn't show much dog handling skills. I'll try another vet.
We've taken our animals to Village Pet Hospital for 20+ years. I have recommended them and will continue to do so. They are great.
I was so glad they got us in. I thought everyone especially nice to us and they made our dog feel comfortable. I worked for a Vet for years so I guess you could say I am particular. We found our new Vet! We liked our previous Vet, but they always "too busy" to fit us in the same week, but we can drop our pet off to be squeezed in for an extra $50 and the other Vet we tried, plays the guilt game because we were late getting our dog in for vaccinations, but I am obviously using crutches. So glad we decided to try Village Pet Hospital for the game free quality care we got for our sweet dog. Communicate was excellent as was the care. They earned our business. Now I know why they are always so busy!
Dr. Zach is a holistic Veterinarian and has done wonders for my baby boy. He will be 17yrs old this April & he is getting around and playing like he is 6hrs old again. Dr. Zach had him completely off all RX meds and on some natural herbs. Our previous VET wrote him off as just old and nothing could be done, yet kept running tests after tests after tests charging us $600+ but he is just old. The rest of the staff at Village Pet hospital is great, super friendly I feel welcome there. Again our last vet seemed to dred seeing our boy and at one time I was told that no one liked him, they put in his chart that he is grumpy and is very vocal about it, they would not let him come in for an appt he had to be "dropped off" & they would gas him to get him to sleep while they ran tests on him. Knowing this I always had this horrible feeling that makes my mind wonder what they might do to him while he was there for tests. I do not have this feeling or fear at Village pet hospital.
