Atmosphere and service were great. Though overall I found the food to be mostly a letdown.
Started with the mini baked brie. I was expecting a hot melted cheese with a warm fruit spread over top. Instead what it was is a mildly warm cheese and cold fruit spread. It was good flavor but not what I expected.
Bison burger was good with a nice fried egg. Bacon was a little let down not being of a strong smoked variety. The side of brocollini was very meager in my opinion. Only 3 pieces.
Might be willing to try the brunch menu on a repeat visit instead of dinner.

Great pub food! Had the truffle fires and pig ear nachos (which was a new one for us) and overall was pretty satisfied with the food. The outdoor patio is great to sit on! Would recommend giving this spot a try!

Great experience! I showed up at about 5 for an early dinner and was the only one in there, but over the next 2 hours it definitely filled up. I ordered the Tusk Burger with truffle oil frites and I'll be dreaming of these fries for a long time. Burger was cooked perfectly. I sat at the bar and was served by the bar manager - he was very friendly and attentive, and made one hell of a cocktail! I opted for a seasonal cocktail they had on the menu. It was perfectly balanced, complex, and delicious. They have a few rotating seasonal cocktails that I wish I could come back to try!
The best part of it all for me was overhearing the bar manager speak so highly of the owners, and mention what a great place it was to work at. I didn't realize the whole restaurant is farm to table, and composts the leftover food. Seems to be a really smart, environmental concept and it's definitely working.
My only regret is not saving room for dessert - they've been mentioned in multiple magazines for their desserts and they looked amazing. Would definitely return if I ever find myself in the area again.

Went with a group of 5. My grouper was extremely overcooked. I had to cut it with a knife like it was a tough piece do steak. Nice atmosphere and good drinks. I would just get a burger next time. Hard to mess up.

Tusk and trotter had so much potential to be a five star restaurant but i feel like it just falls a little short across the board. The food is good but feels like it’s missing an element. Some of the portions are a little small for “bar food” and can be pretty heavy across the board. The service was good, servers were friendly and attentive. The decor is nice. The cocktails are a little on the weak side considering the price point. I like tusk and trotter, but i think there’s definitely room for improvement.
