Fantastic service and food on 1/3/25 late morning! Our little waitress (long blonde hair pulled back) was on top of EVERYTHING! She was attentive on our order, kept our coffee refilled and hot, and made sure all our needs were met, and visited our table more than once to check in. It's hard to find that service at many places anymore unfortunately. I wish I got her name, but we did make sure to thank her for being a great friendly waitress. This is what will keep customers coming back!
Consistently delivers on a good bite. Who doesn’t love Cracker Barrel?! Whether it’s breakfast or dinner you can count on coming here for a tasty and price-reasonable meal. Got the dinner version of a sampler with fried chicken (doesn’t come with a bone), meat loaf, and steak fries. The chicken was my favorite and the meatloaf had potential to be good but was unfortunately pretty mushy. Hash brown casserole always is great! Would highly recommend coming!
We decided to stop on our way back from Eureka Springs at Cracker Barrel. It is one of my favorite places to eat. We arrived at 9:30 in the morning. Our waitress came to our table about 15 minutes after we had been there to ask about our drinks. We gave her our drink order and food at the same time. This Cracker Barrel apparently did not bring you out Muffins or cornbread like most do you were never offered neither was anyone else around us. Our drinks stayed empty as our waitress ignored our area at all times would go all the way around us. After an hour, we watch people that had been saved after us get their food. We were a little confused, but did not want to say anything. It’s just not us. But after an hour of watching people that came after us and now leave, we still have not received our food. I flagged our waitress down and said we would really like a refill since we’ve been here for almost an hour and where is our food? She came back to say she don’t know where our ticket went…. What you’re just now going to come to us and tell us you’ve lost our ticket and we haven’t even received any notice. She said she will get it in as soon as possible so we waited another 30 minutes for our food then she had The audacity to still not come back and refill any drink drinks as they sat empty I asked to speak to a manager and after about 15 minutes, finally a manager arrived she said what’s the problem I kindly explained that we have been waiting over an hour and 15 minutes and still had not received our food. The waitress had lost our food ticket. She said softly… OK? I said what are we going to do about Said they will put it in. At this point I was very upset, but I still did not raise. My voice of them asked them to hurry. We were needing to be back on the road. Then they had the audacity to bring us our check after we ate our food. With no discount, almost a $60 ticket and no discount after waiting that long and watching them lose our ticket I will not be back for a while
First, our server Keila, was terrific. No problem there, and look forward to seeing her again. BUT.. the food was NOT good. Hash browns were too greasy and the cook couldn't get them right even second time, bacon, sausage and ham too small portions and greased up the whole plate and made for a bad appearance, scrambled eggs wet, only the pancakes were decent. It was honestly depressing. We were disappointed.
This country style restaurant is a lot of fun. There are all kinds of memorabilia hanging on the wall that are fun to see. The general store next to the restaurant is also fun to see. The restaurant itself is also very good, with all kinds of unusual country style items in addition to the standard things you would find in any restaurant.
