Pennsylvania native Joe Machi did not always plan to enter comedy – it wasn’t until after a stint as a human resources assistant that he decided to try his hand at stand-up. Moving to New York in 2006, Machi quickly took the stage at famed comedy clubs like Caroline’s on Broadway and Stand Up NY, and in 2010, he won first place in the New York Underground Comedy Festival’s emerging comics contest and funniest person competition. He has been featured in the New York Daily News, New York Comedy Contest and Boston Comedy Fest. Most recently, he has made his network television debut on NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.”
