The Ozark Blues Society’s Blues Challenge brings together bands from across the tri-state region for a captivating evening of live blues performances. The triumphant band or solo/duo act will advance to the 39th International Blues Challenge on Beale Street in Memphis, slated for January 16-20, 2024. Proceeds from ticket sales and generous donations allow the Ozark Blues Society to grant the winners a sponsorship award, helping cover their lodging expenses.

Our Mission
The Ozark Blues Society dedicates itself to nurturing an appreciation for all Blues music genres within the community. This is achieved by orchestrating events like meetings, lectures, seminars, concerts, and various Blues-centered entertainments. We aim to elevate public awareness of Blues music on local, national, and international scales. Additionally, we emphasize historical research into Blues to celebrate and immortalize Blues artists who may have been overlooked by mainstream acclaim.
